Compliance

Know Your Customer policy

We verify every business and wholesale customer before traffic flows. It keeps illegal robocalls off our network — and keeps the network clean for everyone on it.

Why we do this

TeleComcepts operates its own network infrastructure, and we are accountable — to our carriers, to the FCC, and to the people receiving calls — for the traffic that crosses it. Customer vetting is the first control in our Robocall Mitigation Plan: we don't onboard traffic we can't stand behind.

What we verify

  • Business identity — legal name, DBA, primary contact, website, business type (retail, reseller, MSP), and a plain-language description of your telecom use case.
  • Business registration — business and billing addresses, state of incorporation, federal EIN, and disclosure of any foreign ownership above 20%.
  • Ownership and officers — who owns and runs the company.
  • Supporting documents — Secretary of State filing or EIN letter, a public URL where the business can be verified, and a valid billing method.
  • FCC registration (resellers) — resellers must provide their FCC FRN or 499 Filer ID, and their Robocall Mitigation Database (RMD) filing ID with a copy of their robocall mitigation plan.
  • Compliance history — disclosure of prior telecom, fraud, or compliance-related legal action, and whether you run your own KYC process for downstream customers.
  • Expected usage — monthly minutes, calls per second, average call duration, and DID counts, so we can set appropriate service levels from day one.

Who needs it

Self-service retail accounts verify with email and a valid payment card at signup — no documents, no waiting. Automated risk controls and conservative initial traffic limits do the rest.

Business, wholesale, and reseller accounts complete the full KYC form before custom rates, committed call paths, or CPS guarantees are extended. Better rates come with commitment documentation — KYC is part of that package.

What happens after onboarding

Vetting doesn't stop at signup. All accounts start within risk-appropriate traffic limits that expand with clean history, and traffic is monitored continuously against the expected usage profile you give us. Material changes in traffic patterns may trigger re-verification.

Our commitments to you

  • KYC information is used for verification, compliance, and fraud prevention — handled per our Privacy Policy, never sold or shared for marketing.
  • Services are subject to our Acceptable Use Policy and all applicable telecom laws.
  • We reserve the right to suspend service for abuse, fraud, non-payment, or failure to respond to traceback or compliance requests.
  • Customers may port out numbers when accounts are current and in good standing.
